Who is responsible

Construction Valentin Inc. (8125, 57e Avenue, Laval, QC H7R 4G2) is responsible for the personal information handled through this site.

Person in charge of the protection of personal information : Cosmin Langaschek, CoLabs.Tech. You can reach them by phone at (514) 258-4091 or by email at hello@colabs-tech.com.

Information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to share with us:

  • Quote form: name, phone, city, address or area, type of work, preferred timing and project details. These fields are used to prepare, in your browser, a message that you then send yourself by phone, email or text. The form does not send any data automatically to a server.
  • Project assistant (Claude): the text you write in the conversation is sent to our service to generate a reply. See the assistant section below.
  • Calls and messages: when you call or write to us, we keep the information needed to respond to your request and carry out the work.

We do not use advertising or behavioural tracking tools, and this site does not set cookies of its own accord.

Why we use it

Your information is used only to:

  • respond to your requests and prepare a quote;
  • plan, confirm and carry out the work;
  • communicate with you about your project;
  • meet our legal and professional obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Project assistant and processing outside Quebec

The project assistant is powered by Claude, a service from Anthropic. When you use it, the content of the conversation is processed by Anthropic, whose servers are located in the United States. This information may therefore be transferred and processed outside Quebec.

For this reason, avoid entering sensitive information (such as identification, banking or card numbers) in the conversation. You can always reach us directly by phone if you prefer not to use the assistant.

Google Maps

The Service area page offers a map provided by Google. It only loads after you click to show it. Once loaded, Google may set cookies and collect information under its own terms. As long as you don't show the map, no Google cookie is set.

Retention

We keep information related to a request or a job as long as needed to carry out the work and meet our legal, accounting and warranty obligations, then we securely destroy it.

Your rights

Under Quebec's private-sector privacy legislation (Law 25), you have the right to access your information, have it corrected and withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, contact the person in charge above.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI): cai.gouv.qc.ca.

Changes

We may update this policy. The update date appears at the top of the page. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
